2012 - Killing Them Softly

MOVIE RATED :
Rated R for violence, sexual references, pervasive language, and some drug use.

HOT & NUDITY : 5/10

At least two scenes involve heavy crude banter between male characters in regards to sexual experiences, including references to bestiality, anal sex and several uses off--k in a sexual context.

A prostitute is shown getting dressed after seeing a man, her rear and bra visible from the side. The man and her exchange crude remark as she leaves.

A major character is a drunkard with a penchant for prostitutes.
VIOLENCE & DIRTY : 8/10

The scenes of violence in the film are limited, but they are highly brutal and have an accompanying atmosphere of dread which lingers throughout the film.

A man is brutally punched in the face several times, with realistic sounds of impact, and the man crying in pain as his face becomes covered in blood. He is then punched in the stomach several times, he begins to vomit blood and bile. He vomits on one of his attacker's shoes, and the attacker responds by kicking him while he's lying on the ground until the man is unconscious.

A man is killed by being shot through the head in slow-motion while at a stop light. You see his facial expression shift as a gun fire, a bullet travels through his hand as he silently screams and exits out his skull with blood and matter splattering slowly. He is shot at least 4 more times, another car crashes into him and his bloody head breaks the windshield.

A man is shot in the chest with a shotgun from long range. The man is bleeding heavily, he cries, moans in pain and is promptly shot again to finish him off, with blood and matter splattering from impact.

A man is shot in the side of the head at point blank range, a large amount of blood spurts upon impact and he slumps over. He is then finished off with a second shot off-screen.
DIRTY LANGUAGE : 8/10
The f-word is a heavy part of dialogue, being used well over 150 times, with many other terms (sh-t, prick, d-ck, p---y, a--, etc) accompanying it. Extended scenes of crude banter between characters in regards to sexual experiences (referencing acts like anal sex and bestiality at one point) involve heavy use of anatomical slang.
ALCOHOL/DRUGS/SMOKING : 5/10

Very few scenes where a cigarette is not lit, with the main character smoking a cigarette in almost every scene.

A character is briefly seen wrapping his arm with a belt as he injects heroin, and the film depicts things from his point of view for an extended period of time. He rambles, zones out when someone tries to talk to him, has his eyes closed and his vision is very blurry while the sound is distorted when hearing someone speak from his perspective.

Multiple scenes in bars, with one character being a drunkard (almost never seen without a drink for all of his screen time) who has a penchant for prostitutes.

A character who is addicted to heroin claims that he plans to become a major heroin dealer.
SCARY & AGGRESSIVE SCENES : 6/10
The scenes of violence are highly startling and have an accompanying sense of dread which lingers throughout the film. Not for the squeamish.
